Nokia PC Suite is a free Windows based application that synchronizes files between Nokia phones and PCs, allowing you to view, edit, and back up all your phone’s files, like contacts, calendar items, videos, emails, install Java and Symbian SIS applications and games in the phone, and more. A great addition to this version is the capability of using the phone as a modem to connect you PC to the Internet.
Besides the basic PC Suite, Nokia offers, free of charge, a package of four add-on applications, including: Nokia Multimedia Factory, that creates multimedia messages using the PC; Nokia Video Manager, for transferring and managing video files between the Nokia device and the PC; Nokia Image Converter, that helps user to customize the Nokia device display colors; and Nokia Map Manager for synchronizing map files. These add-ons can be installed after Nokia PC Suite installation.
In summary, this application allows you to access most of your Nokia phone's storage capabilities and features through a cable or wireless connection, depending on your phone’s model.
Advantages:
* While not used, the application seats quietly on the system tray.
Disadvantages:
* The application can't start the synchronization automatically, it has to be manual.
